Dated September 30, 2017, the 1st WISAR general assembly was held in the Rotary Club of Malabon, Gov. Pascual Ave. Potrero, Malabon.  Spearheaded by our honourable President Ian “Konsi” Borja, active WISAR members from the officials and board of directors all the way down to the latest batch of graduates gathered in the venue to participate and show their commitment to the organization. The venue was filled of black, grey and orange colors as the members reunite with their batch mates and mentors, reminiscing good old stories.

Batch 5 was named after the typhoon LANDO which damaged the most part of Central Luzon, and one of the most successful operations of the WISAR dated October 2015.

This is one of the many events, in which WISAR Operators are working hand in hand with the other emergency and rescue team. The Traslacion or the Feast of Nazareno comes with a very challenging duty for all of its devotees.

Are you up for the challenge?
